view down the road as seen from my roof

So cool. What supplies did you use? Evan thought it was charcoal. The local art supply store?

Thankya. Luckily, the previous volunteer left me a couple of sketchbooks and charcoal pencils, as I neglected to bring anything like that over. I think I can probably restock in Marrakech, but I have yet to look...

Perfect! Are you so excited about your one year anniversary? It seems like it's been a long time. How does the time pass for you? Quickly or slow?

Hm, I'd say both. In retrospect it seems to have passed quickly. Is that always the case? I really cannot believe it has been a year. But I think back to those long weeks of language classes, or how this past July painfully crawled by... I think the amount of new experiences at the onset, packed into a relatively short amount of time, skewed my perception of how time passed, making weeks feel like months. The events surrounding me and how I'm feeling seem to regulate the speed of time. I have heard from everyone that the second year flies by before you know it. Kinda bittersweet, but it sure will feel good to come home.
